Dogs Don't Do Ballet ...

... is the name of one of your favourite books. When Daddy reads it to you, he does it in a Cockney accent, sounding a lot like Michael Caine. It makes me laugh!

It also means that, inadvertently, you quite like ballerina things. So ages ago I got you a second hand tutu dress, and you are now big enough to wear it.

You also like joining your hands together over your head and spinning round in a pirouette like a ballerina. It is very cute.

Seven to Greece

Earlier this month we went to Greece to spend a week with Super-Papou and Aida. Auntie Erika, Uncle Dan and baby Lucas came with us too. When the customs lady said, "Seven of you?" I couldn't believe it! I said, "Seven? No! There's only... oh my... SEVEN of us!"

The British Museum

We had a short but fun visit to the British Museum a short while ago.  As soon as we turned the corner into the museum courtyard, you said 'beautiful!'  It really is.

When inside, you couldn't believe how many triangles there were on the ceiling.

We talked about Pharaohs, who were the kings of Egypt a long time ago.  There were large stone heads of them.

It was a bit busy, but you seemed very interested in the exhibits ... almost too interested, as you are generally not supposed to touch them!

Green Park and the Queen's House

A couple of weeks ago we went for a walk around Green Park, as it is pretty easy to get to by Tube from Brixton.

It was a delightfully sunny day ... we played ball and made daisy chains.

Then we went to see the Queen's house, there were a lot of people there.

A fun day out!

Flying High

Daddy was having a great time throwing you up in the air the other day.  It tired him out, and you almost hit the ceiling!
