We went on our first BIG family bike ride a few weeks ago, around Bewl Water in Kent/Sussex. At 12.5 miles, I thought it was manageable having cycled round with Fish many years before.
But with two girls added to the cargo, a heavy bike and a hot day, it was hard hard hard ...
I was very grateful (and knackered) when we finished, though it was beautiful and exhilarating.
