Granny and Grangrad got you a playhouse for your birthdays this year!

Mummy and Daddy had to build it together, it was quite hard and we are not very good at DIY.  But we persevered with only a few minor errors, and you love the result.

Next time (??) we will borrow and electric screwdriver ...

Piano with Patrick

You are progressing well in learning the piano with Patrick.  You can now read the notes C-G, you know where middle C is, you can play a whole C scale, and you are starting to use your left hand.

It is fascinating to see how you learn, how determined you are when you want to get something just right, how frustrated and distracted you get when you do something wrong, and how happy you are when it all comes together.

It is ok to make mistakes ... not just when you are a child, but for always.  Never be ashamed of being fallible, being human and being imperfect ... always try your best and live by what you believe and the mistakes will melt away, making you stronger.

The Snayul needs to not be tuch!

You had a lovely time playing in the garden with your schoolfriend Sally recently, and you found a snail.  You popped him into a yoghurt pot, along with a bit of grass, but Minnie kept interfering with it.  So you made a sign ...
